Full Description

A small rectangular platform on the northeast slopes of Hadborough Hill at SS 9674 2861. It is 5 metres by 3 metres cut into the hillside by 0.5 metres on its north side. Best interpreted as a World War Two mortar or gun position. Surveyed using GPS as part of the RCHME Exmoor Survey. [1-2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
