Full Description
The Tithe Map for Dulverton shows a farmstead centred at SS 8792 3081, with a central domestic building and a large pond at the south. It is labelled Slade, with the land parcel labelled 210. The Apportionment describes this as "Slade Farm: Homestead", owned by George Hall Peppin and occupied by John Woodbury. [1] The farmstead is similarly depicted on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. It is again labelled "Slade". [2] The group are shown on the 2021 MasterMap data, with some changes to the layout of the farmstead (including the loss of a large range of buildings and the pond). It is again labelled "Slade". [3]
