A enclosure is now thought to form part of a field system on the south side of Trentishoe Down, possibly associated with temporary cultivation.

Full Description

An irregular shaped enclosure, defined by low banks was noted on a site visit in 1985 on the east side of Trentishoe Down. [1] Centred at SS 6348 4757. Part of a field system, defined by low earthen banks, is possibly associated with temporary cultivation of parts of the south side of Trentishoe Down (see MDE9000, MDE9001, MDE9004). [2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
