Full Description

A system of post medieval field gutters is clearly visible on vertical aerial photographs at West Hawkwell Farm. These features form part of a larger water meadow system that extends northward to Combeshead (also described in record MSO9277). [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
