Full Description

A post-medieval water meadow system (known locally as a catch meadow irrigation system) was seen as earthworks and mapped from aerial photographs. The system (centred at ST 0030 3435) lies on the north side of a steep valley and may be associated with Burrow Farm. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
