Full Description

Large chipped flint celt, or axe, of Neolithic type (exact provenance unknown), found utilised as a stone in a flower bed of a cottage at Roadwater. The well-patinated implement is 12.5 inches in length and is in the County Museum, Taunton. [1] It is likely that this is a secondary Neolithic ritual axe. [2]
