Full Description

The farmer at Luckyard Farm indicated an iron pit at SS 9281 3583. It lies alongside the hedge boundary and is 24 metres long and 18 metres wide. It is being infilled and its depth could not be measured. [1] The features described above were not visible on vertical aerial photographs of the area. [3,4] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [5]
