Full Description
Probably early 19th century. Red sandstone rubble all approximately to feet high. Swept up at corner of St Georges Street and Priory Green to approximately 13 feet high. Segmental archway to left on Priory Green with dressed sandstone voussoirs and rounded reveals with rebate for gate. Segmental arched opening to No 12 Priory Green. Included for group value. [1] English Heritage Listed Building Number: 264712. First Listed on 04/08/1983. [2] The wall is included within Dunster's Conservation Area. [3] The wall was visited in April 2012 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13. It received a BAR score of 5A. [4]
