Summary
A leat is recorded that led to a pond and then on to a farm water wheel, that powered a barn thresher. The wheel was dismantled in 1975 and sold.

Full Description
Leat from SS 8761 3928 to pond at SS 8800 3945 and then to farm. [1] Head chamber with fine screen and 12 inch pipe to barn. Wheel (Pelton type) dismantled April 1975 and sold. Was used to power barn thresher. [2] Slide also shows lynchets which may be confused with the leat. [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
