Full Description
Cottage. C17-C18, altered C20. Red sandstone and ironstone random rubble, rendered left half, curved facade, hipped thatched roof. Plan: angled facade, appears to be 3-cell, perhaps 2-cell with single bay outbuilding converted to one dwelling. C20 2 and 3-light casements. Two storeys, 2 eyebrow dormers first floor, ground floor 2 windows left fronting road, one is in angled facade left of entrance, stable type door. Interior not sighted. [1] English Heritage Listed Building Number: 265380. First Listed on 05/06/1985. [2] 3-cell plan. Stone, Random rubble, Render walls. Hipped roof [3] The building was visited in June 2012 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13. It received a BAR score of 5. [4] The building is depicted on 2018 MasterMap data and labelled "Marigold Holme". [5]
