Summary

A Mission Room and school room built in 1875-6, with a church room added in 1906. It is built of red sandstone and is now known as St Luke's Church.

Full Description

A 'Mission Room (Church of England)' is shown on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. [1,2] 'St Luke's Church' noted on 2005 Landline Ordnance Survey map. [3] An oak framed roll of honour records 56 members of the parish who died in World War One. [4] St Luke's is a combined church and schoolroom of 1875-6. The schoolroom windows are on the side and the church lancets on the end. The Church room was added in 1906. [5]
