Full Description

A grass covered stone faced curving bank about 40 metres long, 1.9 metres wide at the base, 1.4 metres high at the front and 0.3 metres high at the rear. The bank forms part of a semicircular enclosure with a field enclosure bank. [1] The enclosure is shown on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map with trees depicted in its interior. It may have been intended to provide stock with shelter. [2,3]
