Full Description

A trackway of medieval or later date is clearly visible as a well defined earthwork on vertical aerial photographs to the southeast of Kents Farm, Brompton Regis. [1,2] A road is shown in this position on the Kings Brompton Tithe Map. [3] The road is no longer extant by the time the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map was drawn. [4] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [5]
