Full Description
Extractive pits, clearly visible on vertical aerial photographs to the south of East Nurcott. These features probably relate to ironstone extraction, which may be post medieval or even earlier in origin. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
