Full Description

Linear field banks and ditches on east facing slopes, 250 metres to the northwest of the proposed location of the deserted medieval farm of Hurscombe (MSO8850). The linear ditches run parallel to each other and may be field gutters relating to a post medieval catch meadow irrigation system. [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
