A small extractive pit on Blagdon Hill, of probable post-medieval date, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947. It is likely to be associated with several quarried depressions recorded separately to the east (MEM24292).

Full Description

A small extractive pits of probable post medieval date, visible on vertical air photographs on Blagdon Hill, centred at SS 9657 3285 . [1,2] It is likely to be associated with several quarried depressions recorded separately to the east (MEM24292). [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
