Full Description
An earthwork bank is visible on aerial photographs close to the summit of Hoccombe Hill, Brendon. Located at SS 7847 4384, the bank runs approximately east-west and measures some 125 metres in length. Its precise date and function are not clear, although it is not depicted on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map and therefore is likely to be earlier than the post-medieval period.
