Full Description
The remains of a possible fragmented trackway of unknown date aligned east to west between SS 9500 3579 and 9534 3582. The feature comprises three parallel fragmented ditches and part of a fourth, the longest of which can be traced for 340 metres. The remains were seen as earthworks and mapped from aerial photographs. To the north there are further similar probable trackways which can be seen crossing Lype Common. [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
