Full Description
A World War II searchlight or anti-aircraft battery was seen as earthworks and mapped from aerial photographs. The battery consists of one large circular emplacement at ST 0168 3387 measuring 10m in diameter and three other circular emplacements ranging in size from 5m to 8m grouped at ST 0172 3392. Two associated rectangular hard standings are situated at ST 0175 3396. All three groups of features are linked by a narrow ditch. [1,2]
