Full Description
The Tithe Map for Countisbury depicts a rectangular feature within a small enclosure at SS 7860 4828. It is labelled 277, which the Apportionment describes as "Ashton: Linhay and Yard", owned and occupied by John Palfreman. [1] The feature is depicted on the 25 inch 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps in a similar arrangement. [2,3] The building is not shown on the 2022 MasterMap data; however, the enclosure is still visible. [4]
