Full Description

A small cairn lies on the western edge of Furzehill Common, close to a stone setting (MDE1327) at SS 73516 43920. The cairn is 4 metres in diameter and 0.6m high. Nearby is an earthfast boulder with a very flat top, 0.8 metres long and 0.4 metres wide. The stone setting and cairn were surveyed at 1:200 using Differential GPS during reconnaissance of the area. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
