Full Description
A small quarry pit lies on the western edge of Furzehill Common at SS 73056 44343. It abuts a field boundary and may have been dug to provide material for the boundary bank.The quarry was recorded using differential GPS during reconnaissance of the area. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
