Full Description
SS 70969 40872. The earthwork remains of several hollow ways were noted during field survey in 2017 on the north side of South Regis Common. A typical example is 3 metres wide, 1 metre deep and 100 metres long. The hollow ways run north to south to cross Old Close Bottom and were routes across the common up onto the summer grazing on the Royal Forest (MEM22088). [1]
