Summary
The remains of several hollow ways were visible during field survey in 2017. The routeways appear to have used earthfast boulders to direct traffic.

Full Description
SS 70965 40565. The earthwork remains of several hollow ways were noted during field survey in 2017 running east to west across the central part of South Regis Common. A typical example is 3.5 metres wide, 1.2 metres deep and 200 metres long. Several earthfast boulders lie in the vicinity and it seems the boulders may have been used to direct the routes across the common up onto the summer grazing on the Royal Forest (MEM22088). [1]
