Full Description
A weir is shown on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 9411 2706. A sluice is also noted in this approximate location (not mapped). [1] The weir and sluice are also marked on the 25 inch 2nd Edition map. [2] The features are not shown on the 2020 MasterMap data. [3] They are also not shown on the Tithe Map for Kings Brompton. [4] This weir and sluice appear to relate to a small water course or leat which is still marked on the map taken off the Haddeo possibly for stock watering, meadow watering or local water power
