Full Description

16 flints were discovered during the excavation of a variety of features within Trench 4. 8 of these worked flint flakes came from the lower layer of topsoil. 5 were found across the trench in a sealed stratagraphic context (407). Finally, a single burnt flake was present in context (411), a possible burnt pit. [1] The flints from contexts (407) and (411) are the only stratified flint discovered during the scars, and then analysis of some of the larger examples showed multiple platforms. [2]
