Full Description

Limingclose is shown on the Tithe Map for Exton as an L shaped building at SS 9405 3382 with an outbuilding at c. SS 9407 3382. It is within land parcel 680, which is described by the associated Apportionment as "House etc", owned by Robert Guy Evered Esquire and occupied by Thomas How. [1] The site is shown on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps with some alterations to the main house and a reorganisation of outbuildings. [2,3] The outbuildings seem to have been further demolished and reorganised since the 2nd Edition map was surveyed. The main farmhouse, however, appears to have been little altered since this time.
