Full Description
A large scale metric survey of an area of earthworks on Halscombe was undertaken by Hazel Riley in 2013 as part of the Exmoor Mires Project. During the survey a small scraper was discovered on a recently weathered molehill. The scraper was formed by retouch on the end of a long flint blade and the tool is 40 millimetres long and 10 millimetres wide. [1]
