Full Description

A rough-hewn wheel cross, made of granite and with a crucifix carved on the centre of the cross head. The cross has a three-stepped octagonal base surmounted by a tapering plinth. The inscription is on the top step and on the base of the front face of the shaft, and reads: 1971: [1 name] / 1939 / [3 names] / 1945 / TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND IN EVER LOVING / MEMORY OF THE / PARRACOMBE MEN WHO / FELL IN THE GREAT WAR / 1914 - 1919 / [8 names] The cross is situated within Christ Church Churchyard.
