A network of disused tracks and paths on the lower slopes of Embelle Wood are possibly associated with the numerous charcoal burning platforms recorded in this area. On average the paths are 1.5 to 2 metres wide and area levelled into the hillslope to a depth of about 0.5 metres. They are generally very eroded. [1]
