Full Description
An earthwork scoop and mound of uncertain date and function were identified during field survey of Ashwick Wood, part of a broader survey of eight woodlands on the eastern slopes of the Barle Valley. [1] The earthworks could be evidence of mineral quarrying or prospection. [2]
