Full Description
Masonry underbridge to bottom of incline trackbed at Comberrow. East facing arched entrance portal with tapered rusticated red sandstone vouissoirs and slate stone walling. West facing arched entrance portal with tapered rusticated red sandstone voussoirs and slate stone walling. Slate stone retaining walls to north and south. [1] The Scheduled Monument Condition Assessment of 2009 gave the bridge a survival score of 3. [2] The site was surveyed in October 2015 as part of the 2015 Exmoor Scheduled Monument Condition Assessment. It was given a survival score of 6. [3]
