Full Description
A wall constructed of mortared shingle of probable post-medieval date, recorded running inland from the shingle ridge in Porlock Bay. The wall is centred approximately on circa SS 88174800 and survives as a structure over 100 metres in length, 45 centimetres wide and up to 1.5 metres. The shingle to the west of the wall has been quarried away, resulting in a ground surface two to three metres lower than on the eastern side of the wall. Wall footings can be seen to continue to the south. [1]
