Full Description
Shaft C. Part of Britannia Mine. Sunk in 1852 to assist in clearing the adit before the Engine Shaft (MDE21432) came into commission. Survives as a depression. A leat, 3 feet wide and 18 inches deep runs away from it (MDE21439). [1]
