Full Description
Cottage. Probably early C18. Whitewashed stone rubble. Slate roof with gable end stone rubble stacks, that to right with offsets; both have tapered caps; that to left heightened in brick, that to right with slate cap supported on 4 brick uprights at the corners. 2-room plan with direct entry into left-hand room and integral 1 1/2 storey rear outshut. 2 storeys. 2-window range. C19 fenestration of 2-light casements, 8 panes per light to upper storey, 12 panes per light to ground floor, except first floor left- hand window, replaced in C20 with 2-light casement, 6 panes per light. Pantiled leanto roof to porch with C19 plank door. Interior not inspected. [1] The building was visited in September 2012 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13.
