Full Description
The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map shows the quarry situated under the later route of the Lynton to Barnstaple Railway Line. [1] The quarry has moved west and the railway line is in place on the 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map and the 6 inch 1903 map. [2,3] The quarry is also marked on the 6 inch 1962 map. [4]
