The site is shown as a clear area within woodland on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [1] The quarry is depicted and labelled on the 6 and 25 inch 2nd Edition maps. [2,3] The quarry is labelled as an "Old Quarry" on the 6 inch 1962 Ordnance Survey map. [4]
