Summary
Please read the Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record caveat document.
Type and Period (1)
Protected Status
- None recorded
Full Description
Lynchets visible from a distance within enclosed land at SS 6498 4408. These ploughed down lynchets lie on west facing slopes at 240 metres above Ordnance Datum. [1] The lynchets are not visible on aerial photographs; however, a post-medieval water meadow has been recorded nearby (see MMO1875). It is possible that the two features are the same. [2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
