Abstract/Summary
Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out by AC archaeology during groundworks associated with installation of a telecommunications pole and ancillary equipment between Template Cross and Huish Barton Farm, Nettlecombe, Somerset (ST 05415 38560). The monitored groundworks consisted of the excavation of two pits and the main cable trench. The recorded deposit sequence was typical of historic agricultural activity, and was consistent across the monitored trench. No archaeological features or deposits were exposed, and no finds were recovered.
