Abstract/Summary
Results of an archaeological evaluation undertaken at Lanacombe in 2014. Excavation revealed a complex sequence of interlocking ditches and pits, thought to be of Prehistoric origins. No dateable finds were obtained. The single radiocarbon date retrieved from Trench 1 dated to the late Mesolithic period but it was suggested this may have been due to residual charcoal.
