Abstract/Summary
Survey, assessment and limited excavations of John Knight's pleasure grounds or designed landscape in the northern part of Ashcombe, part of the setting for Simonsbath House. Mainly 19th century features but some possible from 17th and 18th centuries associated with Simonsbath Farm. A bridge at the confluence of Ashcombe Water and the River Barle was also recorded as part of the designed landscape.
