Full Description
The remains of a water wheel at Holworthy Farm is evident only by a partially infilled wheel pit. Water from two small ponds; the leat has also been destroyed. Overshot wheel with one wheel bearing. [1] The leat can be seen on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps and the position of the wheel is also noted. [2,3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
