Full Description
At SS 8564 4219 a possible hut site occurs in a small patch of pasture otherwise surrounded by heather. It is on level ground and consists of a circular bank, 1.3 metres wide and 0.2 metres high, with an overall diameter of 4.3 metres. There are traces of a 1 metre gap in the southeast. The whole is grass covered and the banks seems to be of earth but the impression is that of a small, possibly prehistoric hut. It is uncertain whether there is any connection between this and the clearance mound 75 metres to the east (MSO7376).
