Full Description
A circular feature is depicted by McDonnell at SS 7895 3834. [1] At SS 7892 3835 in an improved pasture field is a circular depression 19.5 metres in diameter and 0.5 metres deep. It occupies level or slightly south facing ground on the top of Winstitchen. The feature is most likely to be a dewpond associated with the agricultural improvement of this area. [2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
