Full Description

A cairn 55 paces circumference lies at SS 9353 4777. Farm workers are traditionally told not to interfere as "it is a burial ground". [1] Survives well in 1998 but is rather tall for a prehistoric cairn - it lies in farmland and may have been added to. [2] At SS 93510 47783 is a stony mound, which is clearly a modern stone clearance heap. It seems probable that this is the `burial ground' refered to above. [3]
