MSO12256 - Possible prehistoric stone alignment south of Black Barrow (Monument)

Summary

A possible prehistoric stone row, 230 to 275 metres long, has been noted in this location. It appears to have been confused with various sites in the area but no indication has been given that it is not a genuine site.

Full Description

Stone row reported aligned northnorthwest to eastsoutheast, 230 to 275 metres long. Two rows 0.6 metres apart with stones 2 paces apart. [1] 275 metre row may be confusion with parish boundary stones. [2] Much confusion with stone setting MSO6882 but appears to be a separate site and renumbered as above. [3] Not recorded by RCHME. [4]
