MSO11884 - Possible post-medieval water meadow system at Sweetworthy (Monument)

Summary

A water meadow system was noted on aerial photographs taken in 1947; however, further review of the site suggests this may be in error.

Full Description

Water meadow system seen on aerial photographs at Sweetworthy. [1,2] The area indicated is under trees and there appears to be no evidence of a catch meadow system here. [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
