Full Description
Large circular area of lighter vegetation enclosing large and small concentric ring of darker marks. [1,2] Possibly a ploughed out enclosure. [3] No evidence for earthworks of any kind in a pasture field 400 metres northeast of Duredown Farm. [4] Appears to be visible on the 1946-8 aerial photographs taken by the Royal Air Force. [5] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [6]
