MSO10851 - Outbuilding South of Wood Tenement, Jury Road, Dulverton (Building)

Outbuilding which was a barn but is now a cottage. It is possibly 16th Century, and was altered in the early 20th Century. Early experiments in the X-rays are said to have been undertaken here by a former owner.

The outbuilding about 5 metres south of Woodliving was a barn, and subsequently a cottage. It is possibly 16th century, and altered in the early 20th century. The building material is random rubble local stone, with a gabled, thatched roof. There are no external features of interest. It is said to contain a chamfered beam and open fireplace.
