Full Description

Farmhouse, now dwelling of the Wimbleball reservoir warden. Early C19. Rendered over rubble, hipped slate roof, stacks. Double pile facing south-east. Two storeys, 1:2:1 bays, 16-pane sash windows, 7-bay partially glazed verandah, entrances overhanging eaves, brick second bay left and between first and second bays right. The farm appears on the 1822 Greenwood map. [1] English Heritage Listed Building Number: 265600. First Listed on 04/08/1986. [2] Double pile plan. Stone, Render walls. Hipped roof [3] The building was visited in March 2012 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13. It received a BAR score of 6. [4]
